The NYSNA (New York State Nurse Association) and the AACN (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses) are the two of the most common and best professional rated organizations which I have researched. I think I am most likely to join the AACN, mainly reason which my current job title and professional is an Intensive Care Unit critical care nurse, AACN is the largest specialty nursing organization in the world. AACN promote the interests of more than half a million acute and critical care nurse throughout the United States. AACN drive patient health and safety though the comprehensive credentialing of acute and critical care nurses, advancing practice consistent with standards of excellence.

Set and share a goal for how you will become involved in a social /professional organization. Discuss how involvement in these types of groups could positively affect you as a student/employee? (Minimum 100 words total)  After I review the AACN professional organizations’ value, as an ICU nurse in the high-stress environment of critical care, where patients are often at their most vulnerable, positive affection can be a transformative element of care. AACN advocates for a holistic, patient-centered approach in critical are settings, underscoring the importance of emotional support and compassionate care. AACN works to promote its mission and vision, it is guided by values that are rooted in this association’s history. AACN effectively integrate positive affection into critical care nursing :1, Training and Education: A lot online and national wide local hospital training helps nurses develop the skills necessary to express positive affection appropriately and effectively. 2, Supportive Environment: Create an environment that values and promotes compassionate care. 3: Reflective Practice: Encourage nurses to engage in reflective practice to evaluate their use positive affection and its impact on patient care. 4, Patient and Family Feedback: Understanding their perspectives on the role of positive affection could provide valuable insights and guide adjustment to improve the quality of care to the patients. Aligned with the AACN’s principles, positive affection enhances patient comfort, satisfaction, and all positive outcomes, nurses can significantly enhance the quality of care they provide and contribute to a more compassionate and effective healthcare experience.
